BDC Applications can be used to create web parts with the standard SharePoint BDC Web Parts. The web parts will include automatic list filtering and sorting.
BDC Web Parts can include complex filters and use SharePoint profile properties for filters.
Integrated actions can be included to link to Remedy self serve or to perform actions for closing or modifying the item.
BDC web part columns can be added and removed and filters applied through SharePoint administration.
BDC applications can be added to SharePoint Search as a Search Scope.
